Our Story

Bharuch to Bombay (BTB) is a business which was born out of the COVID-19 pandemic. With so many of us stuck indoors - home workouts, baking and furlough forced our inner creativity to the fore.

This is where I discovered my passion for Indian food - learning how to make a very humble yet delicious Vada Pav – Mumbai’s most popular street dish, enjoyed by everyone from street hawkers to city workers.

Irfan - Founder.

The Stall

We collaborated with a local carpentry expert whose level of craftmanship brought our vision to life. What started as a scribble on a page turned out to be a fabulous wooden framed rustic pop-up stall, fit for any occasion. In addition to its aesthetics, our stall is designed to be as practical as possible so we can setup and dismantle in almost any space.

The Food

Our recipes are original, hearty and authentic, and by being established in East London we strive for originality and creativity. As a bustling metropolis, London is often described as a cultural melting pot where amazing people and brilliant ideas come together. In this, we aim to deliver delicious Indian street food which is authentically Bharuchi and as classical as Bombay, all served from the heart of East London.
